It is finally here! Blogtober officially begins tomorrow, and I am excited! The bulk of the research I’ve done for the challenge is mostly complete, and I have the first five or six posts ready to go. I saved a few days to post in real time because of a couple of events I’m attending in October.

Today is in the upper 70s to low 80s, but according to the weather forecasters, cooler air is supposed to arrive here in Chicago on Thursday, with highs in the 60s. I want to have my hot caramel apple cider, cook some chili, and get cozy for the season. Zora is ready to go trick-or-treating, and I have to find her a costume ASAP! Hell, I need a costume as well. Mama wants to go trick-or-treating, too!

I have posts coming up on decluttering and prepping your home or apartment for winter, getting your car ready for winter, activities, and events throughout the city, and a few craft projects. Stay tuned and watch out for tomorrow’s post! There may be a video or two that corresponds with a post.
