Hi, readers! It’s been a long time since I last posted here. Life is showing itself now, and I have a free moment to catch up on what happened since I last left you.
Zora did well in her Black History presentation. As I mentioned in the last post, she presented on Jerry Lawson. I went to watch her and the other students at her school do their presentations, high fever and all. The noise from the music was too loud for Zora, so we went home.
I paid down many overdue bills and am a lot closer to paying off my 2010 Honda Fit, which is dead as a doorknob. If I play this correctly, that car will be paid off by the end of the year. While overtime is around, I have to do them until it’s over. The supervisor did say it should be over by the end of April.
I have been working on a top-secret project on the Noggin for months. I am working with one of my writing partners in crime, Ray Sostre. He has a book coming out next year, and we’ve been helping each other develop our characters, discussing writing and music, and getting our lives together. I can’t tell you the name of my work in progress yet, but I can say that I have the first two chapters written and am currently working on the third one.
I made an appointment with someone about purchasing a home. I was advised to pay down my bills and raise my credit score. That means curbing my spending on Amazon and Grub Hub. I canceled many subscriptions, kept a select few, and began cooking at home.
