So, I wanted to get a bigger tree this year to decorate and add my homemade ornaments to it. Zora and I did decorate it, but things didn’t go according to plan.

I pulled out the two bins in the hall closet, one with the decorations and the other with blank ornaments and canvas pieces. I looked at what I had and purchased more decorations from Big Lots, Target, and Walmart. One addition I got was a tree collar. I have a six-foot tree, but it feels small with the collar around the base.

I purchased shatterproof ornaments, lights, and garland to place on the tree. Zora assisted me but placed the ornaments I gave her in one spot, so I went behind her to spread them out more. I haven’t placed more items yet, as I want to make some in the next few days leading up to Christmas. I think the last decoration will go up on Christmas Eve.

That’s it for now. I’ll see you in the next post!
