Happy Friday, readers! Today, I want to share what Zora and I have planned for October.
First, she is going to a trunk-or-treat event in our neighborhood. She wants to be Alice for Halloween this year. She was invited to a couple of events and parties by her friends, and a place she used to frequent invited her to a small Halloween party.
I plan on taking her to a pop-up fall event on Goose Island called Jack’s Pumpkin Pop-up. I got tickets for us to go, and you can see some of the pics I took on Instagram. I’ll give my review of the event in a later post.
The cheap/free thing we’re doing is checking out the Fall decor at Dollar Tree. I grabbed a few items to work on a DIY fall-themed project. I’ll post the picture and a tutorial on how I did it in a later post. We also walked around Walmart to see the Halloween decorations. Z got some pics taken, and I contemplated getting a Halloween-themed tree and leaving it up to decorate for Thanksgiving and Christmas. It’ll be one less thing I have to worry about.
