I want to say that after 10 days of participating in Blogtober, I decided to call it off. I have gotten pretty busy, barely having any time to read over the posts I had scheduled and didn’t edit. Zora really needs my attention at this point, so all of my energy has gone to help her conquer an obstacle she is trying to overcome in school.

At first, I did have the intention of working through all 31 days of the challenge, with over half of them not even written, and a few were researched and ready to go. The latter will get posted, including one with haunted places in Chicago, and appropriate costumes for six-year-old girls. As the countdown to Blogtober went on, I was getting more and more excited about the challenge. I realized I wasn’t really ready or in the right mindset to participate fully. I need to get back on my writing game when it comes to blog challenges like this one.

I do not know how I will feel about doing Blogmas, and that’s coming up fast. Were I to participate, I would do it for only 12 days, like the 12 Days of Christmas. I have to work my way up to 25 days. Maybe I should’ve done the same for Blogtober this year. I am setting myself up to participate in Vlogmas over on YouTube this year, only doing 12 days as well.

That’s it for today. I’ll see you all in the next post!
