The weather forecast is calling for a dip in the thermometer beginning tomorrow. I wonder if that’s going to set the precedent for the rest of this month. Will it warm up again, will it rain nonstop, will it snow on Halloween again? I don’t know.

I’ve been looking into the statistics of the city’s weather for the month of October 41 years ago. According to Weather Underground, October 1st, 1982 was 81 degrees, while at the end of the month, Halloween, the temperature was 67 degrees. Fast forward to today’s predicted forecast, it doesn’t go passed today but it was 70 balmy degrees.

It may snow, rain, or a freak wind storm may come through a la Hurricane Sandy this month. I just want to have my venti caramel apple spice to drink this fall season until the Christmas drinks come out. It’s a hard pass on pumpkin spice. It’s time to get the winter gear prepared.

I’ll see you tomorrow!
