Day 14 of Blogtober

Hello, readers! Since returning to work, I have been exploring ways to build a budget and save money simultaneously. I started researching Pinterest for savings challenges, including affordable ones available on Etsy, and sought advice from others on setting up a savings account and budget planning.

I decided to find a template of what a sample budget would look like. I filled in what the fixed expenses are, and left the varied expenses blank. I made a copy for each month. From there, once I’ve filled out one month completely, I can see what’s left and use that to start a savings account. My goal is to open up one and rebuild my emergency savings. I want a surplus at the end of each month, not a deficit.

That’s it for now. We’ll talk tomorrow!
