Blogtober is officially over! A lot has happened and is also going on in my life. Today, as my daughter gorges herself on Halloween candy and shares it with me, I’ll share with you how I got through this month’s challenge.
Back in June, I decided I wanted to revamp the site. What I did was place it in Maintenance Mode to give me some time to write, gather pics, and edit before allowing it to go live. I began writing the articles in the same month, some I had pictures and others needed pictures and links to things I researched. After I had what I wanted, I scheduled out all of the posts and kept a running list of which ones were scheduled. Later on, I was able to link the articles on a page I designated for Blogtober.
I made the banners for Blogtober in July, saying when the articles go live. I’ve been posting on my social media to let people know when I’ll be sharing content and linking out to my site, just like everyone else. The graphics indicating the day an article is posted were created years ago. Maybe it’s time I redo the graphics like the one I have above.
I mentioned earlier that I have a dedicated page for my Blogtober posts, which I update every year I participate in the challenge. You can read some of my old posts, and I would love to do a blog challenge for all 365 days or 366 days if it’s a Leap Year. Blogtober and Bogmas will factor into it when I decide to go for that challenge. That’s a lot of pictures, links, and other things I may need.
I’m tired, and it’s time to put the laptop away. Zors is demanding my attention, and we’re going to watch some Halloween cartoons. Thank you for joining me on this challenge, and I’ll see you in the next post!
