I just got home, and I have a lot to do before I pick up Zora from school. It’s my night off from work, and I plan to catch up on what I’ve neglected.
The first thing I did was pay my landlord and adjust the radiator so it won’t feel like a blast furnace in my apartment. I took a quick nap since I barely slept last night, then went to the store to get a new coat and a pair of shoes. I accidentally got a pair of steel-toe shoes instead of gym shoes. I value comfort over fashion. I’ll exchange them on Saturday.
I return to work tomorrow evening, as I’m scheduled to work all weekend before I’m off again. Laundry day is tomorrow morning, after I drop Zora off at school.
